Obama says what he means and means what he says

Earlier this week Obama made the following statement:

"Ultimately, I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress," from Reuters, April 2, 2012.

We think Obama understands Marbury versus Madison.  He used to be a Constitution Law Professor for crying out loud.  He fully knows that the Supreme Court, in it's 1803 decision, created the precedent of Judicial Review, which means the courts can overturn illegal laws.  He fully knows 160 laws passed by Congress and signed by the President have been overturned.

.He understands the laws in the U.S, and he understands precedents.  When he said it would be unprecedented for the Supreme Court to overturn Obamacare he knew exactly what he was saying.  What he was saying is what he was thinking, that he doesn't care about the Constitution.

He honestly and truly believes Obamacare should be upheld regardless of the Constitution.  He knows the Supreme Court should overturn the law because it's illegal by the Constitution.  However, Obama believes Obamacare is best for you and me, and therefore it should be made law, or upheld as law, regardless of the Constitution.

We know Obama's Press Secretary Carney is defending the President, and saying the President was misunderstood.  Yet we still don't think Obama said what he said by accident.  Obama knows the media, especially the conservative media, will be all over what Obama said.  Conservatives will analyze out of it that Obama is stupid. Liberals will say Obama was misunderstood.

Yet we think Obama is neither ignorant nor misunderstood.  We think he said exactly as he intended.  We think Obama was simply stating what he truly believes to be true.  We think he was catering to the 40 percent of liberals who say they don't care about the Constitution, that if the President believes something is for our own good He should be able to make a law to make it happen.  In this case, Obamacare fits this bill.

Obama says what he means and means what he says.  He believes Obamacare is best for us, and therefore it should stand, and who cares about the Constitution.  Obama may be contemptuous, but he's not stupid.

This is our opinion, tell us what YOU think.
