Key newspaper endorsements

It doesn't surprise me much that according to editorandpublisher.com, the majority of newspaper endorsements go to Barrack Obama. If it were the other way around I might do a back flip out of pure surprise.

Accordingly, though, Obama has a 3-1 lead in the newspaper endorsement category, with 115 for Obama, 38 for McCain. That's a stark difference from 2004 where Kerry barely edged out Bush 213 to 205.

I'm not really understanding why Obama is such a popular candidate other than the fact that America just wants change for the sake of change. In any ordinary year, any person who said he definitely was going to raise taxes would be booed off the stage in a heartbeat.

But, so it is in American politics.

That in mind, here is a list of all the newspaper endorsements for either candidate. I personally am disappointed the two Michigan newspapers have endorsed Obama, but definitely not surprised.

I think the reason is Kerry could be attacked, on past votes etc.
Obama can't even be asked about anything, or you are a racist, bigot, homophobe, or neo-con

thanks for the list too.
