You'd think that most people would agree with a common sense blog post like what Nikki wrote here, yet I think the big problem with this country is that too many people don't care. I asked my neighbor the other day what he though of healthcare, and he said, "I don't like to keep up on things that won't effect me?" And there lies the problem, and the reason progressives have been able to trample on the Constitution.
I wanted to say to him, "How could you not care? Sure you love that you have a good life and are able to do the things you want all day long, and buy the material items you want so you can continue to live your great life. Yet if you don't care, there are people who are willing to take advantage of us. If we don't stand up and at least CARE, the progressives will, by insidious means, eat away at the fabric of this country. You say you love the Constitution, yet they do not. They believe the Constitution is antiquated and must be changed. And they will succeed because of people like you.
How hard will it be to open up a dog gone book, or flick on the Internet, and spend five minutes a day reading the news. It doesn't take much effort you lazy flog. Get off your ass, learn about how hard people had it before 2010, learn about all who died fighting for this nation, learn about the thoughts of the founding fathers, learn about how hard life WAS!
Dog gone it. Get off your rich, happy ass and CARE! And whatever you do. Please STOP not caring because you think what happens in Washington has no effect on you. If it doesn't right now, it will in the future when Washington has control over how you spend your money, and your kids have to pay for it.
