Rush Limbaugh is not an argument

I have a liberal friend -- and he's a great friend -- who seems to use "Where did you get that information: Rush Limbaugh? an awful lot.  After listening to him do this for ten years, I finally hit him on it this year.  I said:

"You seem to use Rush Limbaugh as your counterargument on politics often.  People don't listen to Rush because they need ideas, because people already have ideas.  People listen to Rush because they like the assistance he provides in articulating ideas."

It's true. And in reply he just hugged me and said, "I love you man. I really do.  We sure do have fun together."
